Ladies Night Out

Come join in the fun on Ladies Night Out in Seaford.
The whole Downtown is a buzz with excitement.
There will be about 24 businesses participating.
It looks like this is going to be quite an event!
It starts at 5:00pm and runs until 8:00pm. on Nov. 16 2006
I hope to see everyone there, don't forget there will be a wine tasting at the Book store.

I was looking around trying to figure out who to dump when I came across The Wicked Witch of the West Side.

With a slogan like Think you work in Hell? This is the unbelievable, but true, story of the Crazy Screaming Bitch (CSB), and all those who interact with her at the Lazy K, a family owned motorcycle dealership. Names have been changed to protect the innocent, facts have been altered and/or distorted to confuse the CSB and timelines have been shortened for dramatic effect. But other than that, It's all true. Please send us your workplace in hell stories. How Could I not immediately like this blog and immediately want to Dump Her on Saturday Night?

Well, I have decided to dump wolfbernz I have been real busy at the bookstore but when I got his email I coulnd't resist the chance to dump him. Wrongblog is a nice site he has opened it up for any one who wants to write and is always there to help. But as the old saying goes sorry Wolfbernz I dumped you!

Underwear...

She walks up, sort of mumbling. I think she just thinking out loud. As She comes in the door I realize that she a little "slow" and that I'll probibally need some patience while I help her out. She's probibally 20-21 years old whith the mentality of a 14 year old. We talked for a little bit about the poetry she like to write. She repeated everything to me as if either I didn't hear she the first time she said it or she couldn't remember whether she had said it.

After about 20 minutes, she abruptly decides to leave. She just turns around midsentence and walks out the front door.

The next day she comes by and my brother is helping me with some clean-up. I gave her the usual "Hey how are you?" and she looks at my brother and half shouts... "I shave my Legs!" and leaves. We died of course, I hate to be rude, but how can you NOT laugh after someone says that?

About 2 days later I see her wandering about, looking for something to do. She opens the door and looks around like she's never been here before. She says, "It's B-beautiful in here." Then she closes the door and leaves.

The weeks go by and I see her walking around the Downtown here, she waves and I say, "Hey!" But that's about it. She's too busy talking to her self to stop, I guess. And, Yes, she does hold BOTH sides of the conversation.

Anyway, she decided to buy a book last week. I keep a "bargain bin" out front where all the books are $.25. She rummaged around for a while, picked out a few. Then she played with her purse. I wasn't sure if she was going to pocket them or if she was getting her money, either way I really didn't watch her too close.

She did come in a pay for her books. She said "I love books about Love!" (She bought 4 romance novels) That night I rolled the bin in, not paying much attention to it (or it's contents rather)

The next morning when the bin was being rolled out, a pair of ladies underwear (dirty at that) were found IN THE BIN! Now I don't always like to assume, but I'm sure you know where I'm going with this!

Needless to say, the underwear were retrieved with gloves an papertowels and disposed of.

My first real Post.

I sit in a bookstore all day.

I tried to add to that , but what more can I say that would get the point across or emphasize how great it is? To just sit here, watch the traffic, list my online books, play with my websites...

I meet new people everyday! Each one more interesting than the last. That's what this blog will be about!!! The people who come into the bookstore.

Hmmm...
